Lucas & Kaela Wedding Preview

After a week filled with rain the heavens opened and Lucas and Kaela's wedding day was sunny perfection. Set in Kaela's childhood home out in Chilliwack we were excited to take a break from the Vancouver scenery and embrace the country landscapes. Here's just a quick peek at yesterday's wedding goodness.

Darryl + Jennifer + Pork chop - Engagement preview

We think these photographs speak for themselves but for the sake of this qualifying as a real blog post here are just a few words..  We love taking photographs in our city with amazing couples who have insanely adorable pugs. This shoot just had the perfect recipe that produced some of my favourite photographs. Ever. I've already mentioned Porkchop, 'golden hour' lighting and a beautiful couple that no matter what crazy thing we told them to do were just so comfortable and natural with each other. It was a joy to spend the evening with you three and thanks for climbing into two separate but equally as questionable willow trees. I promise I won't make you do that in a wedding dress. We are so excited for your September wedding!

Dreaming of Palm Springs

With all the rain in Vancouver, it's had me dreaming of our Palm Spring's adventure days. Josh and I have both grown up in the Northwest and there's something about a completely opposite climate that we've both fallen in love with. Open spaces, palm trees, mid-century architectural gems and endless sun. What more can you want. So today I'm dying to be in the desert, but these photographs will just have to do.
