Our photography studio update - Vancouver wedding photographers

Vancouver Wedding Photographers

I thought it was time for another studio update, Instagram style. Here's a look at what's been happening around Green Ginger. We're right in the middle of wedding season which means I'm at the studio more then my real home. Doing everything from meeting bride and grooms, editing photographs, updating our website, designing albums, photo shoots and everything in between. Since the brutal heat we've been having here in Vancouver we've traded our cups of coffee for cucumber water and cold brew. We've got a cup with your name on it, so come visit!

If you're getting married in Vancouver, get in touch! We'd love to have you over to our studio for some coffee (or tea) to chat about your wedding. Getting married internationally? Good news, we love to travel!

A preview of the studio - Vancouver wedding photographers

If you've been following us on Facebook or Instagram, you would have noticed us sharing vague images of our new studio. I thought it was about time I took some real photographs and posted a legit preview of the studio. We're in the home stretch now. Final details like hanging pictures and art, making signs and all that fun stuff. We're hoping to have our doors officially open in the next week or so. I can't wait to meet with our brides and grooms or for our first photo shoot in our very own studio space.

If you want to have a look, or just pop by for some coffee or tea, just send me a message and let's set something up! And to all you Vancouver couples, come on by and lets talk about your wedding!

POPPY FIELDS IN BELGIUM - Belgium wedding photographers

untitled-291.jpg

Renting a car while we were in Europe was the worst / best decision we made. There may have been a handful, or so, near death experiences but we got to see things we never would have had a chance to if we were stuck in a train.

Today I couldn't help but remember the abundance of poppies we saw while driving through Belgium on our way to Luxembourg. There is something so peaceful about poppies. I don't know if its because it brings to mind the poem we would recite in shool every rememberance day - 'In flanders field the poppies blow, between the crosses, row by row.' Or maybe it's because I just have a thing for flower fields. What ever it was I miss it.

Is anyone else re-decorating their house for the new year? I'll admit it, I get bored with my decorations frequesntly. Since buying new couches and re-painting every couple of months isn't an option, my go to is changing up my art on the walls. If you're still searching for some inexpensive but still beautiful quality art, we are selling some of our photographs over at Society6. You can purchase framed prints, regular prints, canvas prints, iphone cases and cards. You can check our little shop here.
