January 2nd and we're already kicking off the 2016 wedding season. We couldn't have picked a better couple to spend this perfect Saturday with. The cold, blue-sky winter day covered in a veil of fog provided the perfect scenery for our lovely bride and groom. Its rare we get to shoot wedding day portraits in the fog. And these two brought a glam element that words don't really do justice. You just need to look at these.

As you can tell from the photographs below, it was almost impossible to stop these two from smiling. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard during a shoot. Normally it's my job or more often, Josh's job, to make people laugh but with these two it was the other way around. I had to consciously think about holding the camera up to my eyes. Keep your eyes out for the full post because I have so many more photographs to share with you all. I'm excited for their Roundhouse wedding this January.
Thinking back to this amazing wedding, my mind automatically goes to their ceremony. I’ll never forget the vows these two wrote for each other. Nothing else mattered and for that moment, the room was empty except for two spirits who stood together and shared the deepest feelings of their hearts. I distinctly remember kneeling in the middle of the isle taking deep breaths, with a camera glued to my eyes, to make sure I didn’t start ugly crying right in the middle of their wedding. It was such an honest, heartfelt and beautiful moment. Among one the many reasons I love being a wedding photographer one of my favourites is getting to look back at the images we’ve captured and being immediately taken back to the moments in time they represent. I know I’ll forever treasure these. Sean and Berkley, thanks for inviting us into your love story. Thanks for having us be a part of your amazing Vancouver wedding. I’m excited for you guys and your new adventure from bride and groom to husband and wife.
David and Camille - Vancouver wedding photographers
We are so excited to share this wedding with you all. These are so many amazing details jammed packed into David and Camille's wedding day that we had to break it into two posts. This first is their wedding morning and ceremony. Their wedding ceremony is easily one of my favourites. An arch hand made by the groom settled in the middle of a hazelnut grove, a vintage Rolls-Royce for the bride to arrive, a song the groom wrote and sung for his bride, flowers petals to celebrate their union. Not a single detail was missed. Josh and I were honoured to be able to photograph this day. Enjoy and be inspired by this incredible Vancouver wedding..
