Darryl + Jennifer + Pork chop - Engagement preview

We think these photographs speak for themselves but for the sake of this qualifying as a real blog post here are just a few words..  We love taking photographs in our city with amazing couples who have insanely adorable pugs. This shoot just had the perfect recipe that produced some of my favourite photographs. Ever. I've already mentioned Porkchop, 'golden hour' lighting and a beautiful couple that no matter what crazy thing we told them to do were just so comfortable and natural with each other. It was a joy to spend the evening with you three and thanks for climbing into two separate but equally as questionable willow trees. I promise I won't make you do that in a wedding dress. We are so excited for your September wedding!

Lucas + Kaela Engagement

We talk about it with our couples all the time, but we really love location scouting. Rain or shine we love any excuse to spend the day together exploring Vancouver, but the longer we're been photographers the harder it is finding places we're never photographed. Enter new challenge. Recently we're loved going to some of  our favourite spots around Vancouver that we would normally just hang out and finding spots that we could use for photoshoot locations. It's been forcing us to view our surroundings differently and we're so excited with the results. Deep Cove has been one of those places that we're visited for many years, let's be honest, for the donuts and for the best deep-dish pizza place but never had we explored the forest and trails around it. Add in two gorgeous people and BANG. Magic. That's all I need to say, enjoy these.

Joe & Tiff a preview - Vancouver wedding photographers

Rain in Vancouver is inevitable. We love it. We love clouds, rain, sun, wind. But more than any of those things, we love photographing great people who are in love. Todays weather called for nasty fall rain. And we made the executive decsion to do the shoot anyway and take a risk. These two were so amazing to work with. They trusted us completely and we're beyond grateful because the photograph's we got are quickly becoming some of my favourites. Ever. Words can't express how excited I am for their spring wedding.
