Rebecca and Brandon - GG Vancouver Wedding Photographers
We had a ridiculously good time photographing these two. Their wedding was in a huge catholic church in Langley, complete with stained glass, granite, marble, the whole sha-bang. We had a bossy priest who told us what we could and couldn't photograph. It was fun. He was pretty spunky. And very old.. which led to a very long ceremony. Long but completely beautiful ceremony.
Then we got to hang out and shoot this amazing couple. They're reception location was in the super quaint, Old Clayburn Village Schoolhouse. There wasn't a single detail that wasn't draped with flowers Rebecca and Branden grew themselves. Amazing.
Our favourite memory of their wedding day was when they were supposed to be going into the reception and instead they hopped in our car (only to have to do a twenty-point turn to get out) and we drove into the woods for a few more pictures (which ended up being some of our favourite images ever!)
Thats how we roll at Green Ginger Photography. What? You're supposed to be in your reception? People are waiting?
Nope. Couple more pics and we will make you famous.
Daniel and Corryn - GG Vancouver Wedding Photographers
These two are so cute. And their wedding was like hunter-meets-happy maiden explosion. They thought about the little details, like his and hers ice cream (after the ceremony), antlers and cowboy boots and lovely floral arrangements. This Vancouver wedding was a great privilege for us to photograph. Daniel and Corryn had a big (and rambunctious) bridal party that kept things fun and interesting… like when they decided to jump in the swimming pool during portraits! Or their wooing of the horses, or their dance moves during our pictures. We had fun. They had a blast.. and this was a wedding to remember.
You can see more of their beautiful faces at their engagement shoot here.
Meet Sean and Amie Evans (don't they just sound cute?!) You might recognize them from their picnic, engagement shoot we did with them a couple months ago. They are our dear, dear, friends; the ones you call up at 9:00pm for a cup of tea or spend a lazy Sunday afternoon with watching the BBC. Amie is a amazing seamstress and all around crafty lady who puts Martha to shame on a regular basis. The woman has jars full buttons and drawers full of fabrics. She made all the bow ties in the wedding and did just about everything else. She made this DIY wedding look absolutely lovely. I've never seen a bride so happy to be getting married. Day of she was cool as a cucumber and just kept smiling and saying, "I'm a bride! I'm getting married!"
Enter Sean: Equally as giddy at the end of the aisle waiting for his precious bride in her princess gown to make her way towards him. Sean is a young man trapped in a old British, BBC loving, body. Complete with a endless supply of dry, witty humor, Sean can make anyone bust a gut.
It was a absolute privilege to get to photograph this lovely couple on their special day. But it's even more of a privilege to get to live life with them.
Love you guys,
