We think these photographs speak for themselves but for the sake of this qualifying as a real blog post here are just a few words.. We love taking photographs in our city with amazing couples who have insanely adorable pugs. This shoot just had the perfect recipe that produced some of my favourite photographs. Ever. I've already mentioned Porkchop, 'golden hour' lighting and a beautiful couple that no matter what crazy thing we told them to do were just so comfortable and natural with each other. It was a joy to spend the evening with you three and thanks for climbing into two separate but equally as questionable willow trees. I promise I won't make you do that in a wedding dress. We are so excited for your September wedding!

I dare you to come up with a venue that shows off the beauty of British Columbia better then the Fraser River Lodge in Agassiz. I could stare at those mountains for days. Today's wedding was like no other. I'm sure we experienced every kind of weather pattern imaginable. Sun, Rain, Hail, Wind, Mist and a double rainbow to finish off the day. Yet somehow, it would clear up just when you wanted it to. I wasn't the only one who couldn't get enough of that epic mountain. I could start a book of wedding guest selfies taken at Brett and Jennifer's wedding. In fact, this should be a thing... Listen up Instagram, you should let users print images from #hashtags instead of just the images from their own account. Personalized wedding hashtags have become quite popular, so how great would it be if the bride and groom could print off an artifact uprising mini book complete images of how your guests experienced your wedding? This is the next big thing and you heard it here folks!
In the mean time, I'm excited to share a little preview of this beautiful wedding! Enjoy.
Weddings have always been extra special for me. So when dear friends are getting married and I get to be their photographer, my heart explodes. But this is just a preview so I'll save all the gushing for the full post and let these photographs speak for themselves. We explored forests and rivers and waterfalls and we documented these two lovebirds. I'm beyond excited for their July wedding at Whonnock Lake. Stay tuned since there's a million more photos to share from this engagement shoot!
If you've been following us on Facebook or Instagram, you would have noticed us sharing vague images of our new studio. I thought it was about time I took some real photographs and posted a legit preview of the studio. We're in the home stretch now. Final details like hanging pictures and art, making signs and all that fun stuff. We're hoping to have our doors officially open in the next week or so. I can't wait to meet with our brides and grooms or for our first photo shoot in our very own studio space.
If you want to have a look, or just pop by for some coffee or tea, just send me a message and let's set something up! And to all you Vancouver couples, come on by and lets talk about your wedding!
Another amazing couple, another amazing photo shoot. These two beautiful people decided to get married and I got to photograph and document their love. Despite how Jennifer and Jacob make it seem, it was one of the coldest days of the year. Cold equals one thing... more snuggling and lets me honest, who doesn't like a little more snuggling. With each location the light seemed to get better and better, more magical and more magical. To top it all off they re-created their engagement proposal. Hammock and all. Stay tuned to the full blog post to find out more details! For now, here is a little peek.
