Weddings have always been extra special for me. So when dear friends are getting married and I get to be their photographer, my heart explodes. But this is just a preview so I'll save all the gushing for the full post and let these photographs speak for themselves. We explored forests and rivers and waterfalls and we documented these two lovebirds. I'm beyond excited for their July wedding at Whonnock Lake. Stay tuned since there's a million more photos to share from this engagement shoot!
Buying my first backdrop for the studio was quite the experience. I'm not even sure Christmas morning was this exciting... and let me tell you folks, I am quite serious about Christmas. It's the little things in life that makes a photographer happy. Especially one from Vancouver. The second I'm able to take beautiful images indoors life just gets that much better.
Josh just assumed I would get white or black. Start with the basics and work your way from there. But I'm not usually one to do what's practical so leave it to me to get a bright pink backdrop. So if you've been following along on Instagram you've been seeing a lot of pink. No shame friends! Pink is in. At least in my world. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my day than experimenting with lighting and photographing this mega babe Ashely. Trying to narrow down pictures from this mini shoot was impossible, there were just too many favourites. So if you love to have fun, call me up and let's pick a colour and take some pictures together.
David and Camille - Vancouver wedding photographers
We are so excited to share this wedding with you all. These are so many amazing details jammed packed into David and Camille's wedding day that we had to break it into two posts. This first is their wedding morning and ceremony. Their wedding ceremony is easily one of my favourites. An arch hand made by the groom settled in the middle of a hazelnut grove, a vintage Rolls-Royce for the bride to arrive, a song the groom wrote and sung for his bride, flowers petals to celebrate their union. Not a single detail was missed. Josh and I were honoured to be able to photograph this day. Enjoy and be inspired by this incredible Vancouver wedding..
We met these two in London and we instantly knew it was meant to be. They're are laid back and fun as it gets. We've been counting down the day's to their Vancouver wedding it didn't disappoint. These two were married by the Vancouver ocean and I couldn't image anything more perfect. Today didn't feel like we were working. It felt like we were celebrating with good friends, who happened to be dressed a little fancier. I'm excited to share more photographs from Jon and Hannah's wedding day but for now here are a couple of my favourites.
I wanted to apologize for the silence of late. We decided to take the last few weeks of our time here in England and travels abroad to rest and fully enjoy our surroundings. Although in the digital world we might have fallen off the face of the planet in the real world, we've been working hard and getting ready for our busiest wedding year to date. With renewed creative spirits we're excited to jump in whole heartedly. We can't wait to share all the exciting things to come along with a multitude of photographs.
